The St. Louis Cardinals have designated Erik Komatsu for assignment to make room for Allen Craig, according to Jenifer Langosch of MLB.com:

Komatsu, 24, was selected by St. Louis from the Washington Nationals in last winter's Rule 5 draft and now has 10 days to determine what do do with him. The club has several options, including an attempt to work out a trade with the Nationals to keep Komatsu, returning him altogether, or they could trade him to a third team.
Komatsu is hitting .211 / .286 / .211 over 21 plate appearances for the 2012 season and has appeared in 15 games while seeing time in all three outfield positions.
Craig, set to return, was on the disabled list following the surgery on his right knee as a result of a fracture that happened last June.
