In 3 games, the Rockies have outscored the Cards by 3 TDs -- 28-7 and the Cards send 13th pitcher Brad Thompson to the mound to stop the skid against old friend Jason Marquis. In many ways, Marquis is the same pitcher he's always been -- walks too many and doesn't strike out enough -- but his GB% is the highest it's been since his first year in St. Louis, his best season in the majors. We could see a lot of ground balls today or we could see a lot of runs scored. Considering our offensive ineptitude, I think we're better off if there are a lot of ground balls.
