Red Baron's thread a week and a half ago inspired me so I thought I'd take his idea and create a little friendly competition. Here's the challenge -- should you dare to accept it...
Simply -- select the correct landing spot for 31 notable free agents. Where will they end up? The member who gets the most free agents correct wins...(truthfully, I don't really have anything to offer. I'm a teacher and, as such, have no money)...the respect and admiration of all the other VEB members!
Wouldn't you like to be known heretofore as the supreme baseball svengali of our esteemed community? Well, here's you chance.
I've listed the names of the free agents below. I've included a couple who probably aren't among the top free agents out there but rumors and speculation have the Cards in the running...perhaps.
Post your answers in the comments. Simply go in order and list the teams, separated by a comma. Please, please, please...pretty please w/ sugar on top...DO NOT TYPE A NAME, HIT ENTER, TYPE ANOTHER, HIT ENTER, ETC or your list will be a mile long.
For example, you might type:
Yankees, Red Sox, Mets, Red Sox, Yankees, Dodgers, Mets...make sense? Good. I'm pretty sure we can all handle this.
I'll compile the results and then, when all is said and done, announce the grand prize winner. (Disclosure -- there is no grand prize except for the admiration of everyone else in the community. Hope that's good enough for you.)
Deadline -- Next Saturday, November 22 at 11:59 p.m. If anyone signs in the next week -- we all just got a freebie!
