i haven't had time to look it up; anybody know the last time a cardinal team lost 10 games in a row? anybody know if la russa has ever lost that many in succession?
the brewers are off to a 2-0 lead against the reds, and we'd best root for milwaukee; the reds are now a mere game and a half behind the cardinals. indeed, as of this writing st louis is closer to last place (6.5 games) than first place (7 games) . . . .
