Well, they really didn't deserve that. They just wasted way too many scoring opportunities. It's easy to secondguess Tony letting Franklin pitch to Bonds*, but the offense is what truly choked that one up. Just too many wasted chances.
Ugh. At least we got to see Albert hit a solid, clean home run.
*It's more than a valid thing to do--let the lefty throw to the lefty, or let your closer pitch to the heart of their lineup, and let the rest of the cards fall as they will.
