Grew up in a small town about 75 miles east of St. Louis, so obviously I grew up a Cards fan. My high school boyfriend really got me into baseball and I moved closer to STL for college where I really started to become more of a fanatic. What can I say, I love baseball and baseball boys! I still live in the STL area and look forward to baseball season every year!!

Off of the "view from the cheapseats" website...Jimmy Baseball may be released by the Padres as early as this weekend...

I loved Edmonds when he was in STL and hate to hear anything bad about him...he really was an amazing center fielder and I think deserves consideration to be in the Hall of Fame...
Just wanted to see what others thought about this...Good Luck Jimmy! I hope you can raise that BA and retire on your own terms...
