Since 2010, former Cardinals pitcher Jason Motte has made it his mission to help end childhood cancer. He went on to start the Jason Motte Foundation, which has spearheaded the K Cancer campaign. The campaign has spread around Major League Baseball with various teams sporting "K Cancer" shirts in the team colors among other things. Carlos Martínez, current Cardinals pitcher and founder of the Tsunami Waves Foundation, has now joined the K Cancer fight.
Tsunami Waves is dedicated to helping serve children in the St. Louis area and in the Dominican Republic. The Jason Motte Foundation is a perfect partnership for helping to further this goal. Keep up the good work, Carlos!
