Rangers bring up slew of young talent

Arlington, TX (Sports Network) - The Texas Rangers called up catcher Max Ramirez, righties Wes Littleton and Brian Gordon, along with third baseman Travis Metcalf prior to Monday's tilt with the Detroit Tigers.
Gordon is the only one of the four who has yet to make his major league debut.
Ramirez has tallied 10 hits in 43 at-bats this season with two homers and nine RBI for Texas.
Littleton, over parts of three seasons, has a 5-3 record with a 3.75 ERA through 96 innings in 74 games, and in 73 games over the past two seasons, Metcalf has recorded 50 hits with nine homers and 29 RBI in 203 at-bats for a .246 average.
