Blue Jays activate OF Wilkerson

Toronto, ON (Sports Network) - The Toronto Blue Jays recalled outfielder Brad Wilkerson from his rehab assignment and activated him from the 15-day disabled list. Wilkerson had been on the DL since August 23. In 74 games this season for Toronto, he has a .215 batting average with three homers and 21 runs batted in. In other moves Tuesday, Toronto recalled the following players from Triple-A Syracuse: pitchers Shawn Marcum, Scott Richmond, Brian Wolfe, outfielder Kevin Mench and catcher Curtis Thigpen.
