- Boone Whiting struck out 4 in 4 innings of work. He allowed a solo home run among three hits for his only runs allowed. He walked 1. Whiting's shown promising results thus far through the AFL with 18 strikeouts in 17 innings and just 6 walks.
Dominican Winter League: For those of you curious, Oscar Taveras is hitting .395/.425/.658 in 38 at bats. Of his 15 hits, 5 are for extra bases.
