Do the Cardinals have enough Cardinals?

Come April, the Cardinals will need a full roster of 25 Cardinals to hit the field. With longtime Cardinals Matt Holliday and Jaime Garcia, along with Brandon Moss, gone from the organization, there appeared to be a need for adding more Cardinals. The team has some internal options that will need to step up, like Tommy Pham and Kolten Wong. But also, Mo has brought in a few players, so let’s take a look at whether they will be able to make an impact for the Cardinals.

Brett Cecil – LHP

Oh wow, is that reliable lefty Brett Cecil wearing a Cardinals jersey? Looks like he’s going to be a Cardinal come Opening Day! Good job Mo!

Dexter Fowler – CF

OK yup, that is definitely Dexter Fowler in a Cardinals uniform. Looks like he’s a Cardinal too!

John Gant – RHP

This is John Gant. Mo made a move to acquire him with the Jaime Garcia trade. Due to an unorthodox delivery, he has some promise as a reliever, but he appears to still be an Atlanta Brave in this recent photo. I know the jerseys are pretty similar, but it looks like Mo has a little extra work for him to be a Cardinal.

But hey, that make two new Cardinals!

With the additions of these two Cardinals, it looks like the Cardinals are sitting pretty well heading into the spring training. Go Birds!
