Yadi to Clean Up Position, Sensible?

For tonight's rubber match with San Francisco, manager Mike Matheny moved Brandon Moss out of the four-spot and Molina moved in. Tony Pham will be in the line-up and Heyward will not. Knowing that Carp seems to be working most efficiently at the lead-off spot and Wong struggling with inconsistency at the plate lately, I was curious if this move to make Yadi the clean-up man makes sense.

Yadi's not traditionally a clean-up hitter but after the long-ball he smacked the other night it could be a good chance for him to establish an argument to become one. Personally, I wasn't expecting Moss to be the clean-up man soon after his slow start with STL, but I would have guessed that his replacement at the line-ups sweet-spot would have been Peralta. Here is tonight's line-up.

1. Carpenter, 3B

2. Piscotty, RF

3. Peralta, SS

4. Molina, C

5. Reynolds, 1B

6. Wong, 2B

7. Pham, CF

8. Moss, LF

9. Garcia, P

Does it seem to make sense to you?

If you could, what would you change?
