So here is the number of PAs/Games of every Cardinal player who had fewer than 85 PAs (this excludes Wong, Peralta, Piscotty, Heyward, and Carpenter, all locks for the roster). I don't think this made things any clearer for me, but here are a bunch of numbers!
Moss - 67/23
Pham - 64/23
Cruz - 58/19
Molina - 52/14
Jay - 47/19
Reynolds - 44/23
Garcia - 40/23
Grichuk - 29/15
Adams - 26/15
Holiday - 21/9
Bourjos - 11/17
Kozma - 8/16
Stanley - 7/6
Villanueva - 3/1
Tartamella - 1/2
Easley - 0/0
This excludes the Atlanta series, so these are only the games that mattered. Jay got a lot of PAs for a guy who can't hit. Adams and Holiday had 1 complete game between them in September. Kozma was clearly replaced by Garcia. Bourjos continued to be not used. Pham and Moss seemed pretty trusted. Stanley might've made a postseason roster, but unless Yadi is dead, they aren't going to have anything to do with the other 2 guys.
