Last year, Joe Kelly started 15 games and won 10 games. He was also one of the most consistent starters when he pitched. In other words, Joe Kelly is a really good pitcher. So it wasn't surprising when I found out that Kelly was going to be in the rotation. The only question about him is what is his future? He has the capability of being a starter. He can be a long man reliever to bail out another pitcher. He throws hard, but accurate. Kelly is one of the Cardinals brightest young pitchers. In fact, he helped the Cardinals break a loosing streak. So where does he belong? In the rotation or in the bullpen? My vote, is for him to be a starter. He just looks better when he is starting a game. Also, he was way better as a starter than when he was in the bullpen last year.
So what do you think? Should Joe Kelly be in the rotation, or the bullpen?
