Hey guys, my name is David Zavac and I am a big Cardinals fan from Toledo, Ohio. I read a lot of articles and comments here, and wish I posted more often. I write for SB Nation's Cavs blog, Fear the Sword. While I have made two trips to new Busch stadium, I haven't been able to do too much around the city. I have been to the Cardinals hall of fame museum and gotten a tour of the stadium and that's about it.
At the beginning of August I will be getting into STL with my parents on Sunday and going to see the Cardinals play the Dodgers Monday night. My parents haven't been to St. Louis in years, and haven't been to the new stadium at all. Long story short, I was wondering if people had advice on what would be fun to do Sunday afternoon/night or Monday. Mike Shannon has a restaurant? Is that worth checking out? Did they ever finish Ballpark Village? Is there a better use of our time on the Monday than heading to the museum? I have a feeling my dad would really like that, but I am open to other stuff. I haven't been to town since 2009. Any help/advice would be appreciated, and keep up the good work here. Go Cardinals!
ps. My mom is so excited about the trip she has already asked me to get her a Yadi shirsey.
