first off, i am a white sox fan. they need a left-handed hitting third baseman real bad. you guys-the cardinals-need a better second baseman than daniel descalso. top prospect kolten wong is not major league ready yet and might not be until after the all-star break or even later. i think gordon beckham would solve your second base problem and could even slide over to play shortstop when wong is ready. rafael furcal is not as good as he used to be and he is a free agent after this season, so i doubt that he will be re-signed. i actually was impressed with peter kozma and he seems like a pretty good player, however cardinals management does not seem to consider him an everyday player. what do you guys think of beckham? he is a gold glove callibur defender and i expect his offense to improve dramaticly this season and beyond.
