Would you trade Waino and Beltran for Albert?
So here is what has happened: We lost APU, but we are picking up Waino and Beltran. The question is, would you right now trade Wainright and Beltran to get Albert back? Would that make the Cards better or worse in 2012? How about for the next ten years? You will have to assume that the Cards would pay their current contracts.
For me, I wouldn't do it. I think we will be better off in 2012, and for the next 10 years, but I would like to hear other opinions.

Absolutely not.

If we wanted Albert for 10 years and $250-odd million, couldn't we have, ummmm
just paid him that?
Still bitching to contact.
isn't this a false decision?
We had Waino last year. We got Beltran and Furcal for the pujols money. I still wouldn’t do it since I wouldn’t trade a 2 year contract for a 10 year contract, but I certainly think Pujols will out perform these two guys in 2012.
Another question – Is there anyone you would trade Waino for?
I smacked Rickey right in the face when he told me this idea.
the only ones I'd trade him for would cost an add in of a high end prospect
no thanks

teams would bring up that he is coming back from Tommy John, which would lower his value
