What I meant was
It looked like he could have held the ball an extra second, making the runner not able to break for another second or so, as the pitcher wasn’t exactly flying to 1st. It seems like that extra pause may have either sent him back to 3rd or caused him to be out on the throw home.
I’m not sure since it happened so fast and I didn’t see a replay, but oh well either way.
I saw at least two bodies with their back to the runner.
