This is the second game post-Colby, where-in bad Jaime leads a loss to the Astros. On the bright side, Scrabble's debut scintillated!
I was sitting in the front row of section 346. The night was warm, but not too bad. I had a good conversation with an Astros fan behind me, and the mood at the park seemed relaxed. While I would have preferred to see a victory, I enjoyed the game.
Albert before the game.
Chris Johnson shared a laugh with Freese and then Jay before the game.
This view is worth the price of admission:
This one is not:
The umps were puzzled by the line-up card. "You spelled 'Rasmus' wrong," they said.
Jaime had trouble early
Jon Jay just didn't seem like his head was in the game.
The 1997th hit of Albert's career:
Later, a new pitcher!
If he gets a hit in his first at-bat, the scoreboard will explode
Cruz' finger injury
Yadi got a huge round of applause. Both Laird and Cruz had bad errors earlier in the game.
Molina points out the pecking order to the newb:
Dotel! He's better than Walters!
Carp is talking highly about Scrabble and Dotel
When Jake explains who we gave up to get them.
At least this is a welcome sight
As always, so is this:
Somehow, Lohse finished up the game.
I can't wait until I get to go again!
