Albert's ridiculous streak...

Albert Pujols: El Hombre, The Machine, Phat Albert, you name it Albert has developed quite a name for himself in St. Louis. And I know Cardinal Nation and St. Louis has the best fans in the world but I figured I'd throw this topic out for debate... Albert has been the most consistent player in baseball history with 10 consecutive seasons of batting .300, 100+ RBI's, 30+ homers and besides 2007 when he scored a measly 99 runs... he's had 100+runs in every season.

This season Albert has almost looked human, but it looks to be a lock for him to get his 30 homers and 100+ runs but his average hasn't been very Albert like this year and it might be a close call for him to get his 100 RBI's.  The past couple of games have given it a little bit of a boost and now he's batting .288 (as of Aug 15). So realistically will Albert''s amazing streak reach 11 seasons or is this where it comes to an end. It's tough to say if Albert's slowing down, he has had a couple of nagging injuries the past couple of years but he's only 31 and there's a long list of players who have played into their late 30's even early 40's but to expect Albert to continue to put up those numbers in those later years is asking a lot...

So how long can Albert keep it up?
