Jaime Garcia gets an extension

Four years guaranteed, with a fifth and sixth year club options. $27 million guaranteed, with the options bringing the total value to $50 million. As far as I can tell, this buys out his arbitration years and his first year of free agency (correct me if I'm wrong). This takes him through his age 28 season (30 with the options).
This seems to me like a great deal for the Cards. As good as Garcia's been, he'd get a lot more than this in arbitration. The total commitment of $27 is not very much, so not huge risk involved. The club options are huge for the cards, since they are apparently only in the $11 million range. He doesn't have to be much better than league average for this to be worthwhile, so it'll be a good deal basically as long as he can stay healthy.
What say you?
Edit: fixed math

Option Years?
Ok, my math skills may suck, but how do 2 club option years bring the contract value from 27.5 over to 50 mill over 6 years, but somehow you say they’re in the 6-7 million range? You gotta make up 22.5 million over 2 years? Conservatively that means 10 mill and 12.5 mill.
they're not in the 6-7M range. That's less than his guaranteed years.
