Shelby Miller Has Ties to Brownwood Fan Who Died at Rangers Ballpark
I suspected it given the small town of Brownwood, and some recollections about Shelby's family background. The Millers were going to the Futures Game to see Shelby pitch, but canceled to attend the funeral.
