VEB Day 2011: So... Do You Like... Stuff?
There will not be enough VEB participants for group seating (we're like Reds fans all of a sudden), so you are all on your own for seating. If you want to get together with other VEBers on seats, please use the comments for arrangements.
Also, please leave a note below if you are for sure attending and if you would rather meet up before or after the game (remembering that it is a night game). Friday, I'll make a poll with options of places to go.

I'm planning on attending.
I don’t care if we meet up before or after the game.

i think after the game really suits everyone better.

It's a free country.
Some of us can answer the call of the Budweiser radio ads.

Before the game works best for me.

Night game
I’m old. I’d rather meet up before hand.

This is (depressingly) my thinking as well.

Oh well that means I'm not going.
Parents scheduled my graduation party for that date. Probably sum-zero chance they allow me to skip it.
Seeing the date I guess, it just kind of it me that they occurred at the same time.

Solanus + Rejuvenile attending
I still need to make arrangements and get tickets for the two of us, but I’d almost guarantee that we’re going to be there. We’d prefer before the game, but I wouldn’t say no to either (and I know that the after-game option will happen whether it is planned or not). I would recommend the before-game get-together and maybe an at-the-ballpark meeting place/time (before or after) to co-ordinate plans.

I sort of hate to ask
but since this is an organizing thread, can I get a ride with you guys? I have a place to stay at adieuordie’s place, but I’m not sure if you are going to stay over night. it might be just as easy for me to take the megabus though, hmmm. I think I might be able to go actually.

So, anyway, if we could get back to saying if you're going or not

I'm almost certainly coming.
wife and kid…. hmm… Are you bringing Mme. Fritz?
Have you been to the mustard museum?
What would the pre-game festivities be?
We could meet at Tower Grove park and drink and picnic and throw around baseballs/wiffle balls/baby bears.
Have you been to the mustard museum?
i would pay lots of money so see some of these people do anything physical whatsoever.

being not athletic vs being old/out of shape
i’m not saying i’m in shape (i’m not), but i’m 21 and not grossly out of shape. which is more than a lot of people can say (maybe not on here, but in most of america).
i was trying to be funny. now i kind of look like a jackass.

NO. That is Pride week in Tower Grove. Will be absolutely packed. I am actually going to a separate internet meet up that day, Reddit. The closest park we got was Castlewood.

j bucks before?
check out VEB on facebook...just search groups for Viva El Birdos
I think we should make a VEB all-star ballot,
with each of the selections exactly the same, to amplify the voting power of VEB. I’m thinking we should try to select the most overrated and likely to win AL players as possible (ie. Jeter and Francouer) while selecting the best possible NL players with a slight skew toward Cardinals.

what the hell are you talking about?

Francouer is likely to make the All-Star game?

So far, it is
myself (1), bgh, az, solanus, rejuvenile, a fink (2?), goodymobb, and I am assuming CFiC, Flim, Dttl89 and fang? Is this it/correct?

Correct for me
should have either one or two with me

I wish we could just bring him to random games throughout the year.
