Bautista homered again
that’s 19 now
"You made me live a lie, Tony," Paquette says, "and it ends this morning. Not everybody can play second base."
I want the real Pujols back =(

same here but check this out
From ESPN Stats & Info: #Cardinals Albert Pujols has 7 HR and 25 RBI. On May 23 last year, Pujols had 8 HR & 29 RBI.
That'd make me feel a lot better if his peripherals weren't shite

The real Pujols can't even do what Bautista is doing right now
Dude transformed into Jose Bondstista.
Not afraid to nitpick
He's had stretches like this
Of all sad words of tongue or pen; the saddest are these: 'It might have been!'
Twitter | Gas House Graphs
In fact he hasn't
Bautista through 176 PAs has a .353/.503/.827 line, the best I can find for Pujols is 2006 198 PAs of .323/.449/.804. And shit, batting has gone down pretty significantly since then so it’s even bigger. Bautista is the craziest thing I have ever seen in my baseball watching life.
Not afraid to nitpick
I'm going to go with Bonds as the the craziest in my baseball life
But this Bautista stretch is totally nutters
If I had a time machine, I would go to 1747 and kill Ben Franklin.
But Bonds was already the best player of the 90s
Him turning into superman on juice is crazy but not a utility infielder turning into juiced Barry Bonds.
Not afraid to nitpick
.379 .530 .989 in his last 25 games kind of crazy
With just a .295 BABIP to boot.
Not afraid to nitpick
he's been hitting the ball harder lately, c'mon
"You made me live a lie, Tony," Paquette says, "and it ends this morning. Not everybody can play second base."
who the hell is batting behind him?
shouldn’t Bautista be getting walked more often or something?

the harangutan
well if the rest of the el can’t be happy about a win for more than four comments,
someone ought to post a giant picture of Mr. Harang.
would've.

I think I would rather face Harang than the Ape throwing a bowling ball under hand.
could you imagine getting beaned by that?

ape might need a bigger strike zone, though.

you didn't offend me,
but clearly someone offended you. I’m perplexed as to why you “fucking hate” the “smug assholes” on this blog. Then you felt it worthwhile to post about your hate. So, the fact that you hate the largely smart (no quotes on this one) talk that occurs on this blog and that you have the bad judgement to so vigorously espouse your hate makes me think that you not posting some nights is probably a good thing.
