It's getting harder and harder all the time to hate that Lohse contract. My head still tells me it was a bad deal, even if he pitches well enough to be worth it in the end, but my heart, oh, my heart just can't stay mad at such a needlessly handsome man. Sigh...
Welcome to the big leagues, Pete. I'll be pulling for you to look more like the guy we saw tonight and less like the guy you've been the other four years of your professional career.
Also, Eduardo Sanchez was terrifyingly good tonight.
Now let's all cross our fingers the Cardinals didn't lose two-thirds of their starting outfield in one evening.
