Around SBN: NFL Players Ready To Welcome Gay Teammate

(ALERT: all materials were written in Korean. The google translator is pretty sloppy when translates Korean into English. If you have any question, please ask me via comments.)

The link above is the final post of the five-article series. The other links are below:
#1-#5 (contains an excel file)
#6-#10
#11-#15
#16-#20

Five fans(all Korean) voted and wrote comments for the list. This is a simple list calculated from five individual rankings, however, there is one notable rule there: NR=30th. Here comes an example:

Prospect A : voted as 24th, 24th, 25th, 25th, 25th by five voters = 24+24+25+25+25 = 123
Prospect B : 19th, 22nd, 23rd, NR, NR = 19+22+23+30+30 = 124

In this case, Prospect A gets a higher(better) ranking. This rule effectively blocks prospects who are strongly suppoted by only one or two voters while other voters think they don't even deserve to make the list. Scott Gorgen, ranked as high as 10th by one voter while failed to make other individual lists, could not make our final TOP 20, mainly due to the rule.

The list is, as you can see through the link,

1. Shelby Miller
2. Zack Cox
3. (Tie) Carlos Martinez, Eduardo Sanchez
5. Tyrell Jenkins
6. Matt Carpenter
7. Lance Lynn
8. Seth Blair
9. Adron Chambers
10. (Tie) Deryk Hooker, Oscar Taveras
12. Daniel Descalso
13. Adam Reifer
14. Bryan Anderson
15. Joe Kelly
16. Aaron Luna
17. Jordan Swagerty
18. Nick Longmire
19. (Tie) Tony Cruz, Tommy Pham

This is the second time that we Korean fans published our own list. You can see the pre-2010 TOP 20 prospects list here and here.

So, this is a blog for Korean Cardinal fans?

Life is tough, but it's tougher if you're stupid.

yes

It’s VEB’s unofficial Korean branch. :)

It’s also for Korean baseball fans who are interested in sabermetrics. The blog introduced stats like BABIP, wOBA, WAR, FIP, UZR, WPA/LI and many more to Korea and now somewhat popular among SABR-minded Korean fans.
