La Russa walks Ruiz because he had a lot of "big hits" against the Cardinals in the past and Ben Fransisco has struggled against Garcia.

Fransisco was 1-9 against Jaime and I really don't think that Ruiz is a better hitter just because the pitcher is wearing a Cardinals jersey. Someone please teach Tony common sense and let him know the definition of a statistically significant sample size.

A very frustrating decision.  Hopefully we can get someone managing for us that will help our team win rather than the other way around.
