The Cardinals need to hire a baserunning coach. Hello, Larry Walker.
puppy kicker was released last week by houston.
"We were men - flesh and blood - and we played baseball in the sunshine. We hit doubles off the wall, slid hard into second base. We had fights, and we made love. We sang songs and prayed on Sundays. . . . We felt pain. And we felt joy. There was a lot wrong with the world. But we weren't sad, man. We had the times of our lives." this was a really popular theory while he was in st. louis
every so often there would be a mothership forum post from some guy whose friend worked someplace and swore up and down that edmonds and his gay lover went there once a week to buy each other clothes.
does this look gay to everyone?

a couple of years ago some cubs fans I know were in st lous for a game and seen him out after words …. they gave him crap and heckled him.. He walks up to them and says … You see that woman over there.. “points to the hottest woman in the bar”…. I am leaving with her.. you know why… CUZ I AM JIM FUCKIN EDMONDS// and then he went and picked her up. They were quite impressed.

Did not see that, but I was at a Phillie game when the Phanatic mocked Tommy LaSorda who was pitching some weight loss product.
Phanatic pissed off Tommy so much that the Dodgers’ manager began kicking him in rage.
Best part was it turns out the mascot was in reality some distant relative of Tommy’s.

There is some
serious hostility toward Carp over at Red Reporter. I’m not sure I totally understand why, but check out this comment and subsequent ones.
Also some amusing hostility directed at Boog: “Brendan Ryan – that ugly fucker is a little asshole. He just took that abuse like a little retarded puppy.”
I understand why
Carp is kind of a dick. But that’s why we love him here. No bullshit—but not a nice guy in the least. Old hockey player mindset.

Solanus gave me shitty directions, I about missed my turn, about flipped the truck, and finally arrived around 9:45 at night. Got inside, walked up the stairs, and pounded on the hallway door. He opens the door, I told him to turn around so I could kick him in the ass.
