Cards versus Nats: anybody going? Because I am.
As a proud Washingtonian who just happens to have an obsessive love of St. Louis, I have been to the first two games this series. Both times, I've absolutely loved the interaction I get to have with the other fans, whether they be native STL folks who just had to go to KU, or guys who bring up both Julian Javier and Cris Carpenter in talks about baseball to explaining the true significance of Rick Ankiel to people who only thought he was an outfielder. In any event, I'm just wondering if there are any other fans out here in DC who want to catch the next two games? Not always easy being an Expatriot Cardinals Fan. Gotta find my folks.

and just wanted to add
so far i’ve dragged a Royals fan and a Padres fan with me. Would be nice to have somebody around who doesn’t claim that Allen Craig sucks because of his batting average
i saw ur comment about bernadina and you felt the HR from roger
i honestly felt it too…maybe because i saw bernadinas game against the phillies where he hit the HR and made that great catch
but franklin was just not throwing a good pitch away….he needed a sinker away/in the dirt…yadi called for something away and the rest….
and ray knights commentary also pinpointed everything perfectly on that AB…you are lucky to have some good bc’ers

not me
but could you go down to the dugout and yell at Larussa to NEVER play Lopez at SS again, please?

seriously
i had to yell at a guy on the Metro last night who randomly proclaimed that Brenden Ryan is his least favorite player in the league. I love Boog. And its not just because he’s a ++ defender. I would be friends with Boog if he just happened to be the guy who lives on my block.
Nats fans are not happy about Lopez, btw.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch....
Cardinals fans probably aren’t too happy about the Nats right now either.
Baseball first, teams second, players third, agents last.

i bet you're not happy you went are you?
Out of the crooked timber of humanity, no straight thing can be made
I went.
Sorry – but I just noticed the post right now. I’m a DC area exile from Cardinals land. Sorry if you had to sit through Thursday’s heartbreaker – I count myself as lucky that I didn’t go to that one.
Just curious – do you know of any Cardinals fans bar/hangout in the DC area? It seems like there’s always one for Pittsburgh folks, Chicago folks, etc.
