Steven Hill Being Called Up?

According to a Joe Strauss tweet last night, Steven Hill will be called up to the big league club.  Brian Walton tweeted this morning that Suppan will be moved to the DL (retroactive to 8/1) with groin soreness to make room on the big club, and Brad Penny will be moved to the 60 Day DL to make room on the 40 man.  Nothing is up yet on the official site.

That's all I got.

We like to keep links and breaking news in the Fanshot column unless you’ve done some analysis of the move.

As a general rule, if your post is going to be less than 2 paragraphs then it’s probably a Fanshot…

There’s a link to the community guidelines on the front page if you want more info.

Can Colby round out our new MV3?

Yeah

If you’re gonna waste blackberry space, please give a detailed history of this HIll guy’s arm/swing and the precise medical diagnosis for Penny – otherwise it’s just a waste of time.

BTW thanks for the info that’s been circulating uncertainly, but has yet (till now) been confirmed concisely.

Other mysteries remain. TL

I thought changes to the 25 main were generally an exception to this

Of course, replacing the backup catcher is probably the smallest possible change to the 25-man, but still.

Noted

I thought it might be worthy as it was a change to the 25. As BKK added it was Walton’s confirmation of twitter rumors, plus a summation of the corresponding moves. From now on I’ll error on the side of fanshot.

Anyone

Have a link as to where I an find a breakdown on Hill?

The player I would like least at #9 would be my sister’s cat, Captain Creamsicle. She does have a great work ethic and agility, but I’m really concerned that at 9 lbs., she’s too small to play safety in the NFL. She also bites way too often on play action and is easily distracted by someone waving string in the crowd. Lastly, her wonderlic score was pretty awful, answering "meow meow meow" for most of the questions- Dr. Brackish Okun
