OT: Kelvin Jimemez an all-star in Korea
Occasional Kelvin Jimenez update for DanUp and other Jimenez fans...
Kelvin Jimenez is an all-star in Korea...!!
The all-star game was held on last Saturday. He pitched scoreless 1 1/3 innings.
Jimenez(left) talks with Karim Garcia, a former major leaguer.

He seems to enjoy the game as much as anyone, doesn't he?
Jimenez was pretty mediocre for the first two months. However, in his last 7 starts he has been exceptional, allowed just 4 ER in 47 innings. His season stats so far:
19 G, 18 GS, 108.2 IP, 12 W(2nd in the league), 3 L, 43 BB, 64 K, 3.23 ERA(5th), 4.01 FIP(7th)
He isn't overpowering hitters; he throws strikes, gets ahead in counts, and generates groundballs. Looks like he executes Duncan's game plan well now.

Must be a pretty high scoring league
if a 4.01 FIP is the 7th highest in the league!
Still bitching to contact.
yes
The average ERA in the Korean league is 4.66, whereas it sits at 4.15 in MLB.

my son
is 6 months old and dong very well. Thanks!!
Choi was an all-star in Korea, too. He is hitting .302/.428/.502 now. I, as a Cards fan, don’t like him for obivious reasons, but have to admit he has been playing pretty well since his return to Korea.
