The error was when Bourn was already on base.

Odd
Because Bourn wouldn’t have got to second without the error, so wouldn’t have gone to third on a groundout and then scored on a SF. Shouldn’t be an earned run.

i just think he's gotta catch a couple games
so when tonite’s lineup came out with yadi, that eliminates penny. carp and waino will probably say no, although they won’t actually be asked, and they might want to give the kid garcia the benefit of yadi. so i figured it’d be lohse.
"Some days I feel like the hypotenuse in a love triangle; others as if my lucky number is pi."

Good god
Astros are one feeble offense. Franky didn’t throw anything tough and ‘Stros couldn’t even sniff a hit
Yadi: The fastest of all the Molina brothers.
He did good in ST against minor league hitters
So what does that make the Astros?
we'll see if they can eek out a win tomorrow against
Tony’s typical we-already-won-the-series-so-there’s-no-sense-in-trying-to-win-game-three lineups

the only negative thing is we signed him quickly
the market was bad that year, we mighta got him for about 7 million a year under same terms

we signed him before 08 season ended
on what was supposed to be his last start – he skipped it. the market stuff happened after that.

well it was still a bad market
i remember hardly anyone signed until January
only reason I remember is because my dad commented how we signed him too quickly

Fair assesment
And I am a lohse fan, I think the only thing about the lohse signing that isn’t great is the market carshing after he had already signed and as a pure pitcher I think he’s very good. I also think the next two years after this one will be nearly as good as ‘08 despite his age. I just think he’ll be slowed a littel this year by still learning how to bounce back from an injury.

Players of the game
Luddy 2 for 4, Lopez 2 for 3, Pujols had our only RBI, and mainly Brad Penny for pitching very well. also, Boog avenged. and the bullpen somehow did not fail.
not players of the game: Colby, Holliday both 0 for 4 against Astros pitching. Yadi 0 for 3. Skip took 2 walks and had that one at bat where he wore down the pitcher, so he’s off the hook

bread actually has massive networks of dormant mold
They are sterilized by cooking/baking.
But over time, airborne spores find their way onto the nutrient-rich surface of bread and start multiplying — even under the cold conditions of a refrigerator. At freezing point, fungi become dormant. But if they are exposed to heat again, they can revive and continue to grow.
So keep your bread in the fridge or toast it well.

the other thing is
nutrient-rich (and pH balanced, etc) liquids and sugars are what bad beasties eat. bread is a more complex thingy. it needs enzymes to break it down … and generally the enzymes in your mouth get to it before anything else does.

can u legitimately be worried about an offense that has
Albert Pujols… well i need not continue but will
Matt Holliday, a .300 leadoff hitter, former 30 HR, 100 RBI guy (which i think he can duplicate this year), a prospect will 9 walks (9!), All-Star catcher, and Allen Craig/David Freese (ok well this part i understand, but one of these guys is gonna hit 15 HRs)

well he was just annoying to me overall. I don’t hate him or anything but band’s go through this type of drama quite often. basically he threatened to get me kicked out of the band rather backhandedly so I thought it over for a bit and just quit and moved on to something else. plus now I get to play guitar, bass, or synths depending on what song we’re doing.

I mean, it would be nice if musicians got along all the time, but on the other hand it’s nice to have freedom as a musician, and there’s a lot of different musicians to jam with out there.

becoming unnecessarily bossy and trying to take control of nearly every aspect of the band
but basically I saw a pattern emerging after a year and a half, and he and I were disagreeing about a lot of stuff, such as song arrangements, recording, and a range of other stuff that I will not go into. basically it became not as fun.
so now I am starting a different type of band that is more along the experimental/jazz/psychedelic instrumental rock vein instead of straight up midtempo heavy metal. if I play heavy metal again it will either be much slower or much much faster.

my thing is basically throwing everything and the kitchen sink together. I’m playing a show with an improv group on friday with a drummer, bassist, keyboardist, and electronic sax musician, all random people from craigslist I’ve pulled together, I’m going to record it just to see what weird sounds we come up with. hopefully we don’t annoy everyone at the bar too much. but it’s at a place that has improvised music so no one should be too surprised.

in new orleans
the horn is always the star. just saw some a band at cafe negril – think it’s the marsalis family place, or the neville’s (whoever doesn’t have snug harbor next door) – and the trumpet and sax guys had just finished touring with willie nelson. they were the stars. the bass guy in the back had won a grammy.
"Some days I feel like the hypotenuse in a love triangle; others as if my lucky number is pi."
I love seeing live jazz
saw many a night at the Green Mill, the place Al Capone used to frequent. there’s even a secret trap door behind the bar that had his escape route. I would really like to take pictures down in those tunnels sometime.

these guys played one real jazz tune
i mean they did everything from michael jackson to rock with those horns leading. they just played french quarter fest, main stage, and the trumpet’s little brother’s band played, ages 8-12. reminds me of baseball families, these musical families down here – family business.

it was a good stress reducer. I was playing with my Korg Poly 880 tonight, man that thing is freakin cool. very nice tones. I will be running that and a guitar through my line 6 delay modeler/looper, and seeing if the rest of the band can match what I’m doing.
I’m into a wide variety of stuff, but currently I’ve been listening to mostly Nels Cline, some ambient and electronic stuff, and some 20th century composer stuff

they take some practice to get used to
also, you need to find your ultimate 3 presets for the delays, you can make your guitar sound like other things. like one I made sounds like a lap steel with delay on it, one sounds like a weird synth or something, and the other one is more just sort of a normal delay, but even that on is kinda odd.
