I think everyone forgot about them because Speakerboxx/The Love Below got so much play that Andre and Big Boi got sick of each other and they both just disappeared.

That is fantastic.
I miss so many threads because of school. I’m in over my head in this class but it’s almost over. I have discovered that I am not a programmer, and it’s not even really a programming class.
I’ll be free for three glorious weeks starting May 9. Then I begin an easier class.

XBOX 360, we play NBA 2K10. Freese, Ludwick, Brendan Ryan, we have a team going. We are playing a season together as the Golden State Warriors. We all play on the same team and play a season against the computer. We are on game 3 this year, we just started. It’s hilarious. There is a lot of chirping back and forth at each other, pass the ball, get out of the key – there are a lot three in the key’s, a lot of traveling. A lot of chirping, it gets pretty intense. We liked the name and the colors, so that’s why we choose them.

actually, true story: the last of cards game i’ve ever seen live was jason marquis’ last start as a redbird. 2006: gave up like 18 runs in two innings. i had seats right behind home. by the fourth inning it was my then-girlfriend, me and a couple of scouts left in my section. this was late september.

the worst part of 2006 wasn’t the fact that i gradually lived and died with a piss-poor team over a 162-game schedule only to find them completely unrecognizable come post-season.
no. it was the fact that the only reason this team was in the same zip code as the post season was because albert single-handedly carried them through april. put up obscene numbers – WAR, game tying or go ahead RBI, etc. yet because ryan howard produced in september he walked away with the mvp. that was the worst.

i’m hoping for a sweep. the beauty in this set-up is carp going game three, because tony won’t (wouldn’t dare) take it off if we’ve already won the first two. of course, he’s already put more pressure on the kid by matching him against gallardo rather than sunday night baseball viewership, which is why i don’t buy that story. tony likes to see what guys are made of, and this is a tougher assignment for garcia.

Some random thoughts about tonight
Watching the game with a friend tonight, before Stav’s at bat, I bet 10 million internet dollars that Stav would strike out swinging. If either of us weren’t broke college students, I’d have bet some serious cash. Just an unbelievable and shocking moment. I am not sure I could have dreamed up any more unlikely a scenario. Makes me actually have to consider if there could actually be real improvement from Chair-Stav to Marginally productive baseball player-Stav. Craig better get the milk carton back out because that was one hell of a 2010 debut for Stav.
Lohse got consistently screwed on the strike zone. See that Gameday shot that someone posted. That pissed me off way more than us being able to not hit Dave Bush. There were at least 4 calls that Mr home plate umpire missed, and they all seemed to occur during the rally that nearly defeated us.
Rick and Al is not a good combination. And when the Cards are losing it gets worse. I should really know better than to even begin to pay attention to what they are saying, it just gets me wound up.
So now that Stav has finally realized all that massive potential that the organ-eye-zation has always known existed there, can we trade him straight-up to the Giants for Tim Lincecum? I know he’s not left-handed, but he can play first base, right?
