Around SBN: NFL Players Ready To Welcome Gay Teammate

I found this linked over at the insane asylum... I mean... Bernie's Pressbox.

This must have been a bomb that he hit. Look at the where the fans in the top row are looking as The Babe rounds first base.

this is awesome

It’s so hard, sometimes, to visualize players swinging viciously when all we have of them is bad-perspective/low-quality footage, but that swing, from about-to-retire 1935 Babe Ruth, looks totally modern.

It does.

He really clobbered that ball.

I wonder how far that actually went

some of those people are staring out, instead of down.

It looks like it went out.

Absolutely stunning footage.

Yeah, I am sure it went out.

Too many people looking out of the park. But it doesn’t look like they are looking straight down, so that puppy might have cleared the wall easily. Or I might be too enthusiastic, the second time it looks like some are looking straight down.

Oh, and I love the reaction from the third base coach. He just froze up looking out to RF.

That is a very small ballpark

Sure Ruth had power, but if today’s players played in stadiums like that 1. Fans would die 2. There would be home runs hit by every player in the line-up. I sware I see 348 on the left center field wall.
