Barden's arguably had a bit of a raw deal this year
I can’t help but feel his bat’s a wash with Thurston and his glove was better suited to 3B (at least he didn’t frequently air-mail his throws into the 1B dugout…). Still, that’s the problem when you’re a AAAA utility infielder on a team that has a lot of AAAA middle infielders – you need a bit of luck (or to play for the Padres or something) to break into MLB on a full-time basis.
