It was a fine night for a ball game.
With the tying run on 3rd with 1 out in the 5th, Brendan Ryan hits a fly to left.
Bobby Scales catches the ball.
Mark DeRosa is safe at home. Score tied 2-2 after 5.
Matt Holliday connects in the bottom of the 9th.
Cardinals Win!
We can always count on Aaron Heilman to serve up those 9th inning doozies.
What is going on with Yadier Molina’s hair?
Pujols does his best to persuade Holliday to stay in St Louis.

Really neat picture of Holliday right at the Point Of Contact
Notice how he’s still largely connected, rather than extended, at the POC. His back elbow is away from his back hip due to the outside location of the pitch, but his back elbow is still bent closer to 90 degrees than it is extended.
Notice that he’s making contact with the pitch farther forward than many people preach when hitting an outside pitch.

Camera is a Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT
The first and last shots were taken with a Canon EF 24-105mm f/4 L IS lens.
The player shots were taken with a Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8 L IS lens.
