Here's a little php script I wrote to randomly generate combinations of C--- R--- names to represent that center fielder whose name we can never quite remember. The script outputs a png which means it can be embedded as an image (e.g. in comments) and will show a different combination every time the image is reloaded. Just use http://cbblitz.com/cr.php as the link in an image to embed it.
I'm pulling from a pretty small list of names right now, but if anyone has names they'd like added, just add them in a comment to this FanShot, and I'll update the script.

Alright, I've added all the names above
For now, it just randomly matches a first name with a last name, but at some point I can enforce pairs if it spirals out of control.

whatev, we find it cool & funny to mispronounce his name. thus proving once & for all, we are in fact dorks with no social lives who live in their mother’s basements. if you want to place blame on someone, start with Tony. he’s the one who has problems remembering young players names, and that’s why this whole thing started in the first place.

It’s a pretty awesome signature. I wasn’t there to see him sign it. My brother stood in line for me because I had a test. I think he was embarassed about having a pink hat and pink camera so I think my brother made it awkward.

please listen to this & take it to heart. i know you love the tribe, i get that. my best friend is a life long tribe fan. they are a good org & used to be a good team & will be a good team once again. but please don’t move here. ohio is a soul crushing place for those who are not from here. i’m from mizzou & have been here since 85 and it’s been hell on earth. there are many reasons why i haven’t left yet, none of them very good & now finally i hope & pray i’ve put things in motion where i can finally go back home & be happy.
you’ve said you want to be a teacher to kids in the inner city, and i would hope you really put some thought into that decision. this entire state is in a huge decline & it’s only getting worse. and cleveland is leading the way. the school systems here are in shambles & only getting worse. there are many, many fine cities & states across the great country of ours for you to put down some roots & make a home. but this isn’t one of them. don’t move here just because of the tribe. that’s probably the wost thing a person could do is move to a place simply to be closer to the team they love. you could say the very same thing about me & the Cards, but i assure you that’s not the case. even if i wasn’t a Cards fan i’d want to get outta here.
you’re young & you have your entire life ahead of you. i would suggest to you that you look elsewhere when you have finished school, because this place, this state is one of the worst for young teachers. and young people in general. and i didn’t even talk about how bad the weather is. do you know we only get around 100 days of sun a year? no lie HFS indeed.

Wow. I haven’t decided where I want to live yet. I may move back to St. Louis or I may go somewhere else entirely but I do want to go north I think because I would like to have four normal seasons again. I love South carolina and the south but I think by the time I graduate I’ll be ready for a change. I have heard a lot of people say they love Ohio. Teaching in the inner city is probably not great for young teachers anywhere so I don’t think it makes a difference where you go. I doubt the city of St. Louis is considered a good place to teach if you’re a young teacher. My plan now is to just see what happens when I get there.
