Inspired by chuck's main post yesterday, I decided to take a look at why Lohse has been pitching so poorly after the injury over at Driveline Mechanics. For those who don't want to click on the link, here is a short summary: *His fastball velocity has declined *He's leaving more balls up in the strikezone *Umpires have been hurting him a lot *Batters are making significantly more contact off of him *Batters are laying off more pitches outside the strikezone Combine all of those factors, and you get the piece of crap that is Kyle Lohse right now.
