certainly
the defense behind him, particular anything hit to LeftCenter, was brutal. He probably should’ve survived w/ only 4 runs allowed.
That said, he was definitely off, pitches were up, etc. Hopefully, it was a speed bump and nothing more

if a west team wins the wild card then LA can’t play them. So that team (SF/Col) would play whichever team had the better record between the other 2 division winners (Phil atm). Either way, we’d avoid Phil in the first round

Before we met, the missus didn't follow baseball
but ever since, she’s been forced to watch it just about every night. Back during the 2007 HR Derby, she was like uber in love with Matt Holliday and his kids. She’s always been in love with Albert.
Well, now that we have both, she is completely zoned in on the games. I’ve never heard her be that excited about a baseball game than when Albert hit that Grand Slam. She was jumping up and down and just screaming.
She earned it, though, since she had to sit through TESS in person…which led to a 3 week period of cursing the very existence of the Cardinals on her part.

PD threads are full of hate-Skip posts because he did not run out a ground ball. What's that all about?

He didn't run one out
but in hindsight, he couldn’t figure out where the ball was. He thought he fouled it straight back and instead it was out between the mound and 3B.

Prince the Vegan thought he saw Russel Martin steal his Salad (wrapped in steak, ice cream, butter all in a breaded and fried taco shell covered in milk gravy).

Bigger Douches... Cubs or Brewers?
Leaving out Cubs Fans, because we all know who are the biggest douches in the universe, It seems to me that the Brewers have surpassed the Cubs in doucheness this year.
Granted its like comparing Summer’s Eve and Massengill, but which team do you think is douchier this year?

Brews are flavor of the month douche
or what I call strawberry douches. They are a novelty douche, kinda like chicken flavor. Sure it’s all the clamor and on the front of people’s minds this year but they will come and go. The Cubs have douche staying power for 100+ years.

Glaus shut down again
From the Least Surprising News Ever Dept.:
I haven’t seen this mentioned here yet, but Glaus’ bulging disc hasn’t been responding to treatment and he’s being shutdown for a week – 10 days.
