I don’t think they let teams from the same division play each other in the first round. It kills ratings or some such thing.

No, they don't let them play each other

I combined my two thoughts that we could pass the Phillies and the Cubs could not win the WC.

But it doesn’t matter. Someone would have to pass the Doyers for us to not have to play the Phillies. Unless the Marlins win the WC!

Go Marlins!

correct

if a west team wins the wild card then LA can’t play them. So that team (SF/Col) would play whichever team had the better record between the other 2 division winners (Phil atm). Either way, we’d avoid Phil in the first round

Before we met, the missus didn't follow baseball

but ever since, she’s been forced to watch it just about every night. Back during the 2007 HR Derby, she was like uber in love with Matt Holliday and his kids. She’s always been in love with Albert.

Well, now that we have both, she is completely zoned in on the games. I’ve never heard her be that excited about a baseball game than when Albert hit that Grand Slam. She was jumping up and down and just screaming.

She earned it, though, since she had to sit through TESS in person…which led to a 3 week period of cursing the very existence of the Cardinals on her part.

Says J.A. Happ, he of the sub-3.00 ERA, should be the one to move to the bullpen to make room for Pedro. He says Jamie Moyer can’t be the one to move out there. He didn’t gibe any reason why whatsoever. I have a better idea: DFA Jamie Moyer. He’s awful this year. Shouldn’t Mitch be on BBTN?

Leaving out Cubs Fans, because we all know who are the biggest douches in the universe, It seems to me that the Brewers have surpassed the Cubs in doucheness this year.

Granted its like comparing Summer’s Eve and Massengill, but which team do you think is douchier this year?

or what I call strawberry douches. They are a novelty douche, kinda like chicken flavor. Sure it’s all the clamor and on the front of people’s minds this year but they will come and go. The Cubs have douche staying power for 100+ years.
