I know what you mean – impossible to put into words!
it's okay that they lost
you can lie to him about it until he learns how to use retrosheet…
Congratulations.

Pujols takes out "I" in BIG and "A" in MAC, previously considered to be an unyielding, consonant threat
your son and i share a birthday
aug. 27 is a great day to be born. he shares it with me, random internet guy, pee wee herman and lbj. also, the cards almost ALWAYS play at home on the 27th so hes got that going for him. congrats.
Jesus, was EVERYONE born on August 27th except me?
My brother’s birthday was yesterday. I was glad to fork over a sixer of Guinness for him to celebrate.
One day, David Backes and Albert Pujols will combine forces to become the most awesome piece of violent force known to man.
I know two more that were born yesterday

My friend also had a baby on the 27th this year.

I have three friends with that birthday.
People get busy around Thanksgiving, apparently.

It is really close to nine months after New Years day, or
just a bit over nine months from Christmas.
C'mon you Redbirds, lets prove em' wrong, again!

Technically speaking,
pregnancy is roughly ten months.
"If I prepare myself, my stuff is good and I'm going to get outs. That is a fact." - Chris Carpenter
August is the 8th month,
but I’m still undecided on whether the new millenium started with 2000 or 2001.
Average pregnancy, conception to birth, is 38 weeks (8 months, 3 weeks) = 266 days.
August 27 is the 239th day of 2009.
266 – 239 = 27 days before December 31 (day 0 for counting into 2009).
Conception ~= December 4, 2008.

At least "Busch" . . .
. . . instead of that middle name you gave li’l Avery.
You might, however, say “Avery” ~= “aviary” = Busch.
Congratulations to you and Avery’s mom!

Congratulations!!
Its a great thing to be a dad to a Cardinal Fan. Just wait till you’re chasing him around the stadium in Jupiter during ST, trying to get him to run on the playing field so you have a perfectly acceptable excuse to meet Pujols. Enjoy.
Congrats!
Good thing you started him on the right track, too. Welcome to the Cards club, kid!
Carp (or Waino) for NL Cy Young!
congrats! i have a similar baby cards uni for my daughter.
being a dad is pretty cool. take good care of mom while she recovers from the surgery!
the truth can't hurt you, it's just like the dark/ it scares you witless, but in time you see things clear and stark -- macmanus
Tom and destr, does the uni include . . .
. . . that Ronnie Belliard 2006 World Championship do-rag? (Or was his red?)
Belli just got traded from Washington (.246 in 187 AB) to the Dodgers. Sunday in his first AB as a Dodger, he hit a HR (1 for 8 since).

Not to steal any thunder but here's a picture of my recent son

Adorable, no? When he’s robot overlord someday, I’ll tell him not to work your kid too hard!

Well, no matter how he turns out you can be sure of one thing:
you at least set him on the right path. Seriously though, that picture makes me a little less cynical towards the world and believe me when I say it takes a lot to do that.
