most of the anti-Cubs shirts are pathetic IMO
I would never wear a shirt that denigrates one of our rivals instead of a shirt that actually supports my team (especially when they’re as deeply unfunny as most of the ones on there, although there are one or two mildly amusing ones).

Agreed
I live in the border country where it’s about 50/50 Cubs and Cards fans. See a lot of silly anti-Cardinals shirts on the fans of the boys in the blue pajamas.

I have to admit.
I didn’t really like the shirt at first, but it’s starting to grow on me and I know before long, I’ll be ordering me one.
But, i didn’t know there’d be so many colors!!! I’m having a hard time choosing one.

Oh, and just as a refresher.
What does the 67 signify? And I know it’s either going to be somehing obvious I totally should already know, or something that has arisen from the gamethreads which I’ve never seen.

Are these regular ? fitted?
Could you tell us what brand of t-shirts these are? E.g., Hanes? American Apparel? Fitted or regular? I’m trying to decide on the size.
Thanks.
by Greg_Mathews on Aug 22, 2009 5:15 AM EDT reply actions 0 recs
Well that is what I am in the process of deciding
My first shirts were printed on the tagless fruit of the loom and they were nice. They had some weight to them but they were hard to find in person. Plus, all i could find in powder blue where tall version which looked horrible. So the red shirts were made of good quality and the blue shirts were poor quality.
So since quite of people have already ordered I am just going to do a large order of blank T-shirts online. I have been reading around a T-shirt forum and trying to read some reviews. I think I settled on the

by FlimtotheFlam on Aug 22, 2009 10:58 AM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
thanks Flim, the shirts look good
If you’re still looking for a brand, I’ve found that the basic American Apparel t-shirt (I think its the 2001) is a really nice shirt — it has a more fitted cut and it has a nice feel to it. Only problem is that its more expensive than a basic Hanes or Gildan, but maybe there is a wholesaler or something that offers them for cheaper (I know there are some ebay stores that sell them much cheaper than retail). Anyway, just a suggestion. I’ll be putting in an order shortly.
by mattyp on Aug 22, 2009 2:27 PM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
cool, I appreciate it
I will look into it. I want to make sure the T-shirts are higher quality

"it has a more fitted cut"
From looking at that group picture above, I’m not sure a “fitted cut” is a good idea…….

So, sorry to chime in late on this
But we just had our softball team’s shirts printed out here in Bolivar and the local company does a deal for bulk orders (over 10). Coulda got them printed for about $8 a pop, total. Maybe less since they are only printed in one color. I don’t know how they would’ve handled the different color shirts though. The company has an excellent reputation and is very fast. . . in the words of all cubs fans, there’s always next year.
