Game 121 Overflow thread

Let me get this straight -- Tony went w/ LaRue over Yadi b/c LaRue provides "veteran leadership" (Yadi's not a veteran and doesn't provide leadership?); went w/ Ankiel over Rasmus after his homer last night but sat Rasmus yesterday after his homer Sunday; and chose Greene over DeRosa based on the fact that Greene had 7 hits in 12 career ABs against Billingsley? Hmmm....

it's just that the logic is ridiculous

I’d think you’d want your #1 catcher — if you really believe it matters — catching Boggs and it would be fine for LaRue to catch Carp or Wainer. The notion that Yadi isn’t a vet or doesn’t provide leadership is pretty astounding, really.

Long story short, a few of us started a grassroots campaign for 2010 Powder Blue (PBs) Saturdays in the morning thread yesterday. Vexedtechie and I tweeted to DGoold to ask Pujols (assuming if Pujols was down, the FO would be down), or at least join the campaign to build awareness.
