I beg to differ

I have to put up with the occasional Cubs radio broadcast, and Ron Santo is the King Homer, hands down! He lives and dies, on-air, play to play — assuming you can keep him awake the whole time. Pat Hughes is quite good, though, probably the only thing that makes it remotely listenable.

yes

Dan and Al were calling for Colby to be the starting everyday CF. When they are criticizing him it is normally simple mistakes. They are not calling out his ability or drive. (like AL did with Yadi.) They also criticize other players too. I think you are just not focusing in on this.

They may not be right all on the it, but I do not feel they are overly criticizing him and ignoring everyone else’s mistakes.

BTW: That was my fault

Very superstitious about my scorecard. Must have all innings completed correctly before the start of the next half inning, etc., and normally do not switch with the evil twin in the middle of a half.

ET was scoring right before Denny’s came in, made his remark about ending up at Reyes, and decided he would post a comment. Hands me the scorecard, then proceed to give up 5 straight singles. Realize the mistake, hand it back, immediately Yadi to first to get out of the inning.

Scorecard superstitions have lead to more runs of suckitude than I can count.

Don't argue with stupid people. They will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience. - anon.

man on 2nd, no out

probability of someone knocking him in is the sum of their BAs (or OBP to some degree), but 3 .250 hitters in a row means a 75% chance of getting a hit and knocking him in. is the probability really higher with a man at 3rd and one out?

Is there a team out there that has a better spot for him than the Cards? He said he would throw out of the bullpen. I can’t find the article to link that I read today. Who does it come down to? Cards and Dodgers?

Dan should never be with Ricky

normally, Dan’s on-air fellatio of certain players is pretty bad but when he gets with ‘the cool kid’ Ricky Horton, he can’t stop talking. He’s like that 8 year old that hands out with the 13 year old that lives down the street and can’t stop talking because he wants the other kid to think he is cool. He literally was interrupting himself so he could say something else.

My new favorite thing to do is after Dan shows how much he loves a player (like Skip, Franklin, Ankiel, DeRosa, Holliday) I’ll just randomly blurt out "Why don’t you just go down there and kiss him on the mouth?
