I find it interesting that the article said relatively little about whether Rolen's attempt to end the feud were successful.

I also meant to say that I didn’t know that Marquis was the one who hit Rolen. Was it intentional? I can’t really think of any reason that Marquis would have to hit Rolen.

Marquis immediately collapsed on the mound and was upset with himself. Rolen pointed at him when he was walked off, later, apparently to signal that everything was fine between them.
