Aren't the two both interchangeable holes in the lineup?
It might as well be:
Schumaker 2B
Rasmus CF
Pujols 1B
Ludwick RF
That guy that played the genie in Pee-wee’s playhouse LF
Molina C

honduras -- where the government takes a licking and the futbol team keeps on ticking.
the nation that brought you, yes, a war over FUTBOL. Thousands of civillians were killed in four days.
the truth can't hurt you, it's just like the dark/ it scares you witless, but in time you see things clear and stark -- macmanus
fail
no country is going to go to war over a game… those two countries really had a number of differences
even the link you provide states that this wasn’t over soccer (although it did provide the name of the war)
yup...
… the US national team has been really fun to watch lately. hopefully that continues tonight.
waiting on the lineup
i know adu, perkins, and benny are starting
it will be nice to see what our kids can do against a halfway decent side (still missing most of honduras’ best players… but so are we)
grenada was probably below college level without roberts and joseph
yeah, Grenada was no test...
… but still an impressive showing for a bunch of players who hadn’t gotten much playing time together or otherwise. hopefully they can build on it tonight.
love that Onyewu got picked up by Milan as well. hopefully he’ll get plenty of time.
i'd figure 20-30 starts at least
they play a ton of games and most of their center backs are 33 or older
the ones under are the new brazilian and gooch
No way the U.S.
beats us at our own game!! At least, so said the paradigm. Now us Central Americans have nothing to cheer about… Perhaps, our food. You will never have better tasting food than us!
For now, I settle. hehe

awesome
i met puebla’s top goal scorer a couple years back (argentinian) when i was in puebla…
picked up their jersey while i was there too… didn’t have the chance to catch a game
just made me think of the '01 qualifier in honduras
0-0 until mathis sneaks a late 3 points with a great free kick to help lead the US to the ’02 cup where they made the quarterfinals
say whatever you want about mathis, but damn can that man strike a ball with his left foot

techie people
let me know if there is any way around this
i have a dual monitor setup. i have mlb.tv on my 37" tv and just normal veb and browsing for my laptop. i can go full screen on the tv, but then if i click on anything on my laptop display, the full screen on the tv goes away. is there anything i can do to keep the full screen short of using two computers or is it just a problem with the flash player?

either way
the not full screen mode on the tv is bigger than full screen on my laptop. and this way i don’t have to switch back and forth from the game and veb
Of course, hope means being cut down on some street corner, as you run like mad, by a random bullet.
There is a feature
Where you can use your laptop’s screen and the TV as a dual monitor. So, you can “drag” things from monitor to monitor. If you know how to use this feature, try dragging VEB to your laptop and the game over to the TV and see if that does the trick

Man, completely missed the first inning
Guess the Cards got Suppan’d. Why are we the only team he can pitch decent for/against?
Suppan's not going to shut us down AGAIN is he?
he must be one of the ten worst starting pitchers in baseball.
I am fairly confident we’ll need >5 runs to win this one….

he kind of is
he doesn’t take a lot of pitches

Mild strain of the olblique suffered during BP
Supposed to be back soon, possibly as early as this weekend against the Cards.
Or, if he were on the Cardinals, I would translate that to “he’s out 7-10 weeks.”
No DP no DP no DP no DP no DP
Yadi make sure if you put the ball in play you do so with authoritah
Not afraid to nitpick
Does Al think that anyone is bad?
Guys who pitch poorly often…his response is always “Pitching scared” or “not confident” or “not focused” or something else. Suppan has a career 4.81 FIP…his numbers in St. Louis were good, by and large, because he was pitching in front of good defenses. Todd Wellemeyer has been terrible for his whole career…he’s not just going to confidence the ball across the plate.
These guys aren’t pitching poorly b/c they’re scared…they’re pitching poorly because they ARE poor pitchers!!!

Wellemeyer was stout last year
But I’m glad to see him out of the game.
Guys like Bradley are exactly why we can't have a pumpkin patch anymore.
