techie people

let me know if there is any way around this

i have a dual monitor setup. i have mlb.tv on my 37" tv and just normal veb and browsing for my laptop. i can go full screen on the tv, but then if i click on anything on my laptop display, the full screen on the tv goes away. is there anything i can do to keep the full screen short of using two computers or is it just a problem with the flash player?

the not full screen mode on the tv is bigger than full screen on my laptop. and this way i don’t have to switch back and forth from the game and veb

There is a feature

Where you can use your laptop’s screen and the TV as a dual monitor. So, you can “drag” things from monitor to monitor. If you know how to use this feature, try dragging VEB to your laptop and the game over to the TV and see if that does the trick

At least the pitcher doesn’t lead off the next inning. I don’t see how it’s cowardly. Not sure if Thurston could have driven Molina in with anything less than a triple. He doesn’t get more than 2 bases too often.

Wellemeyer is going to bunt and Yadi is going to get thrown out at third. It doesn’t matter if it’s a good bunt or not…Yadi is too slow to be sac bunted on force plays.

Every blind squirrel finds a nut!

So here’s my question though…why don’t you always run a wheel-type play with Yadi on second? Then there’s always someone at third and you never worry about Yadi walking to third on a sac bunt. If they butcher boy and chop it up the middle, than tip your cap I guess.

Jeff- hi todd
Todd – hi jeff
Jeff – we have something in common
Todd – what’s that?
Jeff – we’re both former cardinal starters
Todd – oh? I didn’t . . . Wait, what?
Jeff – just wait about ten more minutes.

Honestly

How are Ank and Dunc on MLB rosters? I’m sitting here thinking, there’s no way they should be starters for this team. Then I think about them as bench guys. Probably not even good enough for that.

Suppan on the ropes

And he’s out of it. If he picks up a W I’m going to be disgusted

by cloistermaximus on Jul 8, 2009 9:55 PM EDT reply actions

Does Al think that anyone is bad?

Guys who pitch poorly often…his response is always “Pitching scared” or “not confident” or “not focused” or something else. Suppan has a career 4.81 FIP…his numbers in St. Louis were good, by and large, because he was pitching in front of good defenses. Todd Wellemeyer has been terrible for his whole career…he’s not just going to confidence the ball across the plate.

These guys aren’t pitching poorly b/c they’re scared…they’re pitching poorly because they ARE poor pitchers!!!
