Phillies Land Cliff Lee
Looks like they're getting Ben Francisco as well, for four minor leaguers.
UPDATE:
Looks like the prospects are P Carlos Carrasco, SS Jason Donald, C Lou Marson, and P Jason Knapp. None of those guys were mentioned in the Halladay deal, but Sickels' has them all ranked in the Phillies top 10 prospects in his preseason 2009 list, with Carrasco and Donald being top 5 guys.

The Phillies did well, considering how outlandish the demands for Halladay had become.
Thank god we got so right-handed. Hamels, Happ, Lee, and Moyer would have annihilated the old cards lineup.

it makes the cost of the derosa deal
all the more depressing. the phils gave up 4 of their most valuable young players, but they got back nearly five years’ worth of value -- 1.3 years of lee, plus 3.3 years of ben francisco. obviously lee holds most of the value there, but francisco is a league-average bat and is worth more than nothing.
that’s a much more useful haul than the cards’ 2-month rental. . . . .
