I know that there'd been some talk about trying to acquire Ian Snell, so I thought this might be interesting.

clement had gotten to be quite a sticking point for seattle. will he catch or replace laroche at first?
my first thought was that this was a weird win-now move for a team that’s not really a contender (7.5 games out). but snell could be a longer-term move. wilson has an option for next year.
