Pujols?

"Rasmus doesn't hit lefties. Instead he bashes them over the head with their own bleeding arm he just raced to the mound to rip off before the ball arrives to the plate. He then smashes that baseball with the pitchers bloody arm over the wall because he does not hit lefites he bashes them." Ted Lilly

With this overflow....

I have decided to give up my distaste of the trade. It matters no longer. The egg has hatched. etc. etc.

We have one hell of a team on the field. It seems the FO has gone all in, so I say (completely killing the all in analogy), fix the hole that is our #5 starter. Make the run and get to the playoffs.

If your gonna do it, do it right.

That is all.

so offense still hard to come by tonight

anyway, looking for some hopeful signs, and earlier in the game I was thinking about how Derosa always seems to get a solid bat on the ball but rarely seems to get rewarded with the hit. So I looked up his BABIP with the Cardinals so far: .111 !!!. This dude is getting so unlucky right now, once his BABIP starts evening out and Albert and Colby comes out of this funk, this offense should really pick up I hope.

I do not care about the minor leagues. Highly touted prospects go bust all the time (see Reyes, Anthony). We know for a fact Holliday can rake, and we shipped Duncan off to a place where he might actually play his position to boot.

If the Holliday trade causes problems next year, I’ll drink next year. Right now I’m loving the way this team looks.
