NL Central Schedule strength
How the schedules shake out for the Comedy NL Central contenders. Opens to a Google Document. (If anyone can figure out how to format it for 3 decimal places, that'd be great.)
A companion piece to stlfan's Pitching Rotation Down the Stretch. Should boredom strike, I'll add in the Reds and Pirates schedules too.
If there's any room for improvement on my caveman approach to math, let me know.
Italics are teams in the division. Bold for home games. Dark green are teams firmly over .500; light green are teams at .500 or one game over.

Brewers' schedule is soft like organic butter
The good news for us is they have a hellish September just like everybody else.
The bad news is that THREE of those over-.500 series are against the Cardinals.
The Cubs have a terrible make-or-break stretch, no doubt put together when they were going to dominate the heartland.
Italics all across the board: stock up on franklins that week.
Anyway, I’m already seeing errors in the sheet, but I gotta go refuel before banging my head on the foam-for-brains schedulers.

Goog screwed with the sharing/blogging thing again. I can’t believe they’re forcing their cartel on everyone.

Based on this
it seems like the Cardinals should be able to make a run in August to post a decent lead before everyone’s hellish September. Although that kinda depends on how the pitching matchups fall too. Almost all the crappy teams we play have at least one or two #3 or better starters, and the Cards have had a difficult time hitting those type of pitchers this season.
