Boo Continental Airlines
I’m supposed to be going to the game tonight, but my girlfriend’s arriving flight is delayed more by an hour. So, instead, I’m at work, stalking the VEB game thread.
Anyways, go Cards and go Carp. Need a good start in fantasy.

He could be activated as soon as tomorrow, or they could hold him bac till monday. They don’t seem to be sure if he’ll last without surgery, the only way to tell is to play on it. Deroa’s paraphrased words.

other than this weird blacking issue
the mlb.tv quality is much better than the non-HD extra innings feed imo, if that makes you feel any better.

My nexdef plugin stopped working
a long time ago. I’ve reinstalled it several times to no avail. BUT, my TV upconverts signals, so it’s not too bad.

My Nexdef plug in did the same thing
with similar results. The quality isnt so bad on about the 4th bar. I dont like to see the result of the play on here before its broadcast to me on MLB.tv in HD, though.

i normally have that problem
but tonight it’s only ~1 sec behind the EI feed. I’m using boxee to watch it; wonder if that makes a difference.

Agreed.
In fact, if I have it on the lower settings, I’m sometimes ahead of people on here.

my cousin in mizzou did what film said & tried to get around the black outs
and it kept asking him to re enter his zip & credit card #. he ended up not messing with it because he thought it was a trap. do you have to do what film said to do every time you watch a game?

weird story
i was in a caribou coffee joint last night & i was bs’in with the dude making my drink. and there’s a starbucks across the street, so i ask him if they ever play pranks on each other, or if they run into each other in the parking lot do they talk trash to them or have any fights like they did in Anchorman. you know, just bs’ing & trying to be funny like i always am with everyone.
well the dude get’s all serious & says, “NO. the coffee biz is serious & we don’t even talk to them or even acknowledge their existence. we could get fired for even talking to them”
i was like ooookkaaay. i couldn’t get out of there fast enough.

He was fucking with you.
But Anchorman fights would be awesome. We used to get into whipped cream fights at my store. Just walk up to someone whose back is turned to you and, all in one deft motion, put the nozzle into the shirt collar while firing.

Hard to squeeze
with a lefty hitter… all the pitcher has to do is pitch-out to foil the play.

The RH hitter
stands on the third-base side of home plate, so throwing a pitch-out wide to the first-base side of the plate is counter-productive against the suicide squeeze.

"You see Molina thought about picking off another runner.."
Dan, Molina always thinks about picking off a runner. He thinks about it when there is a runner on first. He thinks about it when there is a runner on third. He thinks about it when there isn’t a runner at all. He thinks about it on the way to the ballpark. He thinks about it on the way home to the ballpark. He sings about it in the shower and dreams about it in his sleep.
Molina is always thinking about picking off runners.
